Initial Oral Examination In order to become established with Dr. Karkare, your initial visit includes a full series of x-rays (D0210), a Panoramic x-ray (D0330), Full Comprehensive exam (D0150), charting, diagnosis and treatment recommendations only.
Periodontal cleanings Also known as "deep cleanings". Dr. Karkare will take several things into consideration in order to diagnose the need for these cleanings. The Hygienist will measure your pocket depths around each tooth. These readings help assist Dr. Karkare in properly diagnosing the treatment necessary to stop the disease from progressing.
Implants Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.
